Braised Tofu & Egg with Porridge
Ingredients
- 2-3 eggs
- 1 block firm tofu
- 0.5 cup rice grains
- 700 ml water
- Chew Kee Traditional Braised Sauce
Method
- Pour Chew Kee Traditional Braised Sauce into a pot and bring to a boil.
- Cut tofu into cubes.
- Boil eggs separately in hot water for 8-12 minutes. Transfer to ice water for 5 minutes, then peel.
- Add tofu and boiled eggs to the sauce. Simmer for 30-35 minutes.
- In a separate pot, place rice with water and boil to desired consistency for porridge.
- Serve braised tofu and egg over porridge.
