Braised Tofu & Egg with Porridge

Ingredients

  • 2-3 eggs
  • 1 block firm tofu
  • 0.5 cup rice grains
  • 700 ml water
  • Chew Kee Traditional Braised Sauce

Method

  1. Pour Chew Kee Traditional Braised Sauce into a pot and bring to a boil.
  2. Cut tofu into cubes.
  3. Boil eggs separately in hot water for 8-12 minutes. Transfer to ice water for 5 minutes, then peel.
  4. Add tofu and boiled eggs to the sauce. Simmer for 30-35 minutes.
  5. In a separate pot, place rice with water and boil to desired consistency for porridge.
  6. Serve braised tofu and egg over porridge.
