Braised Pork Belly

Ingredients

  • 300 g pork belly
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (sliced)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Chew Kee Traditional Braised Sauce (500 ml)

Method

  1. Boil eggs in hot water for 8-12 minutes. Transfer to ice water for 5 minutes, then peel.
  2. Cut pork belly into bite-size pieces.
  3. Heat oil in a pot on medium flame. Fry pork belly until lightly browned.
  4. Add garlic and ginger. Fry until fragrant.
  5. Pour in Chew Kee Traditional Braised Sauce. Add eggs. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 35-40 minutes. Serve.
